Bupa announces appointment of Yuman Chan as Hong Kong's General Manager of the insurance business

Bupa Hong Kong, the leading health insurance specialist, announces today the appointment of Yuman Chan as General Manager of the Bupa Insurance Business in Hong Kong.
Yuman has over 26 years of experience in the insurance industry across regional markets including Asia, Europe and the US in roles related to technology, change and risk management, as well as operations and strategy. Prior to joining Bupa, Yuman was the Director of Strategy at AIA Group Office. He also previously held senior leadership roles with Cigna Hong Kong and AIG. He has led a number of initiatives and projects that have driven significant growth in the insurance business.
In his new role, Yuman will focus on curating a holistic healthcare ecosystem beyond health protection to empower end-to-end health and care with Bupa-branded medical centres and wellness offerings. Yuman will also expand Bupa’s health insurance capability by innovating around comprehensive health propositions to further grow our corporate and individual businesses.
